The Power of Advertising!

This made me smile on the way to Finsbury Park. I bet they stood back and admired their Big Idea with great pride... Irony at it's best!

Sports Biscuits

On our usual trip to Taj Stores, I was set the task of hunting down some tea supplements. Rather than picking up the Rich Teas or Marylands (or Rick's fav Boasters),these Fox's shortcake Sports caught the eye.
The biscuits feature "a variety of your FAVOURITE sports". They got one of my favourite sports.

This is definitely a Bob Jackson fixed wheel bike with carbon fibre wheels.

If Fox's Biscuits see this post how about some beach volleyball or table tennis?

POOR PAINTINGS FOR RICH PEOPLE

After seeing the enormous queue in Tesco this lunchtime, we stumbled around the corner in quest of less corporate sandwich options. Then as luck would have it, stumbled up some stairs and straight into the Kounter Kulture show in Dray Walk. It's like Pop Art never went away... by the way, the title of this post is borrowed from artist Ben Frost's publicity literature (that's one of his on the left).

LETTERPRESS REJECT

We've recently been working with Mr Smith of www.letterpress-workshop.com on a lovely little book project, and this scrappy piece of overprinted test page caught our eye while over at the workshop the other day. Watch out for more posts once the book is finished.

FRANK HITS THE BIG SCREEN

Film director (and longtime friend of Frank) Dom Bridges needed to create some fake packaging for use in the title sequence of his latest short film ‘Bitch’. We were happy to oblige and also happy to report that the film was selected for inclusion in the Soho Shorts section of this year’s Rushes Festival. Sensitive souls be warned... this film contains some bad language.

On The Road Again

Only six years since the previous trip (!), Andy and Rick finally got it together to go on another Photo Safari. They went motoring on the A13 (starts down in Wapping, then it aint a-stoppin!) and stopped off at Canvey Island and Southend-on-Sea. Check out the pics at: www.flickr.com/photos/frankdesignfotos
