Mountain machine

Film director Nick Livesey allowed us a sneak preview of his latest project recently, a book of his pinhole photography intended to help raise funds for the cancer charity Leuka. The book features images taken on the annual Fireflies bicycle ride across the Alps juxtaposed with images of the invaluable equipment purchased with funds raised by the riders. We look forward to seeing the finished volume...

SILENT SALESMAN

The lovely Emily Chalmers of caravanstyle.com dropped in yesterday with this groovy gift for the studio. A Barrett's Silent Salesman printing set. "It tells the price, it sells the goods" - what more can we say?

Look out - The Prussians are coming!

Friend of Frank and all-round good egg Chris Walker has just launched his range of Napoleonic-era toy soldiers. Reproduced on heavy card (80% recycled) Chris's original paintings really bring the colourful and dramatic uniforms of the period to life. There are nine sets to collect, including cavalry, hussars, artillery pieces and of course the occasional horribly wounded! Check out walkerloo.com for full rules of engagement and lots more interesting stuff.

XMAS BOWLING

Frank had a great pre-xmas get together with some of our friends from Big Idea Brand Management. We 'rolled' at the recently opened 50s throwback All Star Lanes in Brick Lane. The scoring was close for a few frames, but Nigel soon emerged as 'kingpin' for the day.
